Episode 24 - The Top Ten Most Disturbing Moments in Video Games (also graphic sex talk)

Episode 24 has Bryan, Max and Cam dishing about the latest games we’re playing (Dragon Quest 9, Assassin’s Creed 2, other games that probably exist) and a few ones on the horizon (mostly Portal 2). Then we talk about Bryan’s conception, where his parents boned in graphic detail. Fucking!

So yeah, this one’s R-rated as shit.

Then we count down the top ten most disturbing moments in video game history (not scary, disturbing…there’s a difference). Suikoden 2, Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 7, Indigo Prophecy and Conker’s Bad Fur Day all make the list.

The following image is the prize for our past contest winner, who guessed somethingerother that I can’t remember. Anyways, four boobies!

Featuring music by The Arcade Fire, M.I.A. and Broken Social Scene (by request! Holy shit!)

Episode 23 - The Top 10 Greatest Game Companies of All Time, and the Top Five Worst (and E3 stuff too)

This week has the Gamesters blasting through the top 10 video game companies of all time. Squaresoft, Atlus, Nintendo, Konami, some other shit, I can’t remember. I’m drunk as I’m typing this. There’s some shit about the top 5 worst companies too. And E3. I’m sweaty. Time to stop typing.

Featuring music by Sleigh Bells, Tokyo Police Club and The Wombats.

Episode 22 - Scott Pilgrim, Deus Ex, and the games we hate to love

This episode has the Gamesters trying to understand their new microphone, worshipping Scott Pilgrim, Deus Ex, and all those stupid games we used to play a lot when we were too young to know how much they sucked.

Featuring music by Born Ruffians, and why the fuck not, David Bowie.

Episode 21 - The Shitty Movie-based Game Episode

This week has the Gamesters hitting up the wild world of craptacular movie-based video games, most of which were shat out by LJN or Acclaim Games. Fuck those guys. They suck. We answer some listener mail too. ‘Cause we’re cool like that. Then we get really tired and call it quits before talking too much. So, in the end, we accomplished nothing. Enjoy!

Featuring music by LCD Soundsystem and Crystal Castles.

We’re fucking retards

Heya folks. In case anyone was curious about the electric fly swatter thing, here’s Cam licking it…

Episode 20 - Final Fantasy Part II: 8-13, and all the shit that entails

The Gamesters finish off the main Final Fantasy entries from 8-13, as well as the top ten best things in Final Fantasy history (and the top 5 worst things). From Cid to airships to abortions to moogles, we’ve got it all. Our longest podcast ever. We’re not normally this expansive, I promise.

Featuring music by MGMT, Tokyo Police Club and Caribou.

Episode 19 - The Final Fantasy Episode…part 1….of 2….

By somewhat reasonably pseudo-popular demand, we start our somewhat reasonably pseudo-literary analysis of the Final Fantasy series. We get as far as 7 before we quit, so enjoy our drunken praise of the greatest Japanese role-playing series of all time.

Featuring music by The Apples in Stereo (FUCK YES), Jonsi and The Strokes (ALSO FUCK YES).

Episode 18 - The Top 10 Worst Things in Games, Ever

Another week without Cam leaves us without our chief muse and partner in crime, so we decide to get pissed and look at the top 10 worst things in games in the last fifty or so years.

Yes, we get super fucking wasted for this one.

Episode 17 - The Portable Gaming Special

We’re Cam-less this week, so while he’s in crystal meth rehab, we catch up on the latest Squenix Final Fantasy releases and the entire history of portable video gaming. And Logan’s Run, for whatever reason. Go Paralympics.
